Klein, leicht, günstig, aber bei der Leistung spartanisch - das sind die bestimmenden Eigenschaften eines Netbooks. Die meisten Netbooks haben einen kleinen Bildschirm um die 8 Zoll Bildschirmdiagonale und eignen sich damit perfekt für ein kleines Internetintermezzo auf der Couch. Für viel mehr reicht die Leistung der auf Kostenersparnis und Energiesparsamkeit getrimmten Komponenten auch nicht aus. Die meisten Netbooks laufen mit Linux oder Windows XP Betriebssystem.

Gut Zitat: Bis auf den dunklen und stark spiegelnden Bildschirm ist das Testgerät ein attraktives Netbook, das neben den Genre-üblichen Standards einen besonderen Leckerbissen bietet. Die Harman Kardon Lautsprecher bieten mehr Klang als die meisten großen Multimedia-Notebooks und heben dieses Netbook von der Masse ab. Hinzu kommt eine sehr gute Akkulaufzeit von über 7 Stunden unter Last, welche den mobilen Einsatz grundsätzlich möglich macht – Umgebungslichtverhältnisse sind zu beachten.
